Conventional concrete is neither flexible nor homogeneous due to micro-cracks and contraction scratches. Presence of these flaws may be limited by application of DISPERSED REINFORCEMENT being a cheaper alternative to traditional reinforcement.
Dispersed fiber transfers the load in concrete in places where its structure lacks homogeneity, and prevents development of cracks. In a fresh mixture, fiber limits separation of components.
Steel fiber creates a new structure of connections between concrete components. After curing, steel fiber counteracts the tensile stress and prevents cracking of concrete under load.
Advantaged of steel fibres reinforcement:
- better resistance parameters;
- material cost saving;
- work time saving, abridgment investment time;
- better quality and lifetime of concrete;
- better impact strength;
- better dynamic and static loads;
- better resistance to rapid changes of temperature;
- better abrasion, cracking and crushing resistance;
- oppose the negative stress and appearing the cracks from loads;
- equal, omnidirectional reinforcement.
