Backer Rod (insulating) are use to fill joints and other gaps between building materials. Backer Rod is a round closed-cell polypropylene foam profile. Backer Rod are use to caulk and form the expansion gap to narrow down it’s size. Backer Rod creates support for the PU sealing, facilitate their application and assist PU sealing works at the joint. Backer Rod can be use to fill all types of gaps in construction: joints in floors, joints in walls, at window and door installation, roofs, bridge or viaduct etc.
